This is an in-house league at Dave & Busters on Monday nights starting at 7:30 pm, a half hour later than Tues-Thur league nights. Each week alternates format between 8-ball and 9-ball. Visit the Local Stats page for current schedule and standings. If you're interested in playing a shorter team match, enjoy going to the same location each week, and would like the opportunity to play both 8-ball and 9-ball formats, contact the league office at 714.862.8566!

The South OC APA Pool League kicked off its second session of doubles league. Back by popular demand, effective 2010 Summer Session, every patch earned will be distributed at no extra cost to the player. Players on electronic teams will earn "South County APA Balls" that can be redeemed for patches, other rewards, or may be used for league dues. Refer to the South County APA Rewards Program for details on redemption of "SOC APA Balls" and other awards. The total patches earned for all players is currently being calculated and will be posted soon. Players will be able to view total "balls" earned since the inception of the South Orange County APA Pool League. (Background: As voted by the Players Board in an effort to distribute more trophy/prize money, the patch process was temporarily changed in the 2010 Spring Session to provide players with only one type of patch during that session. If that player earned more than one type of patch, then they were entered into a session-ending tournament for other prizes, but also had the option to buy additional patches.)
Effective in 2010, after each session ends and credits are distributed to teams for the following session, the League Office will request confirmation from team captains (or co-captains), acknowledging the amount of credit received, either for earning "weeks paid" from playoffs or for payouts that are credited towards the next session's team fees. (Background: The APA National Office periodically performs audits of Players Funds throughout the league to ensure trophies and prize money are being distributed appropriately to players. This process was implemented as a result of a recent audit of the South Orange County APA Players Fund.)
When players pay their annual membership dues, they receive a Welcome Kit mailed to them directly from the APA National Office. Membership cards, however, are sent to the League Office and are distributed to players either in person, in weekly team packets or in the mail to team captains. If you have not received your membership card, please contact the League Office. If you have not received your Membership Kit in the mail, please ensure the League Office has your current mailing address, as well as cell phone number and email address to receive electronic messages regarding upcoming events and other reminders.
The Home team picks which table and cue ball to use. You must use the same equipment for the remainder of the matches, unless tables are split.
Shorties (short cues) can be used in situations where obstacles affect certain shots, but cannot be used for jumping.
Refer to "Equipment" from the South Orange County APA Bylaws.
